I have to agree, too. They just don’t make them like they used to.

Thanks for the link! I agree with it wholeheartedly. And I recommend City of Violence too.
Oh NO! Mr. Bordwell will hate me- I totally love how the Bourne fight sequences are shot. Of course Jason Bourne wouldn’t be confused and stunned – he an kill you with a paper towel if he has to! But I love that sense that we’re watching someone who is from our perspective verging on the superhuman (what with the paper-towel-related murder abilities, etc.)
